As it relates to romance travel, what unique value proposition(s) set your brand apart from the competition?
Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts offer the best customizable wedding program, and commissionable options for travel advisors. In addition, the FREE Wedding package is the most comprehensive and provides clients the most value. Travel advisors have also expressed they love the support that we offer, truly living up to the definition of a high-touch luxury product. 

Can you share a success story (with WOW factors) when working with travel advisors?
A couple got married at Beaches Negril in 2017, they were so impressed with how easy it was to plan their destination wedding, how happy they were on their wedding day with so many compliments from family/friends, saying it was the best wedding ever.  Our bride reached out to learn how to become a Romance Travel Specialist with Sandals and Beaches Resorts.  She teamed up with a Travel Agency at the end of 2018 and in 2021 our happily married bride is now a Travel Advisor who is one of our top producers as a Chairman’s Royal Club member and a Sandals WeddingMoons Specialist GOLD Status. 

What is new and exciting that you're looking forward to share with this year's Romance Travel Forum delegates?
We can’t wait to share with this year’s delegates information about the exciting new resorts that are opening in the near future, from Sandals Royal Curacao to Sandals Dunn’s River and Beaches St. Vincent. All of these resorts will have iconic romantic features travel advisors have grown to love about Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts and new innovations. 

The travel industry is forever evolving. What are some of the trends you're seeing, and what initiatives is your brand developing to support travel sellers grow their business?
There is a pent-up demand for Destination Weddings Groups to come to Sandals & Beaches Resorts. With the large number of requests being received, we encourage our Travel Partners to take advantage of our current group contract room rate reduction offer of up to 10% off regular room rates (subject to black out dates & terms and conditions) and book their wedding groups through the end of 2025 by contacting their Groups Sales Manager for a group quote.

What are your traditional commission structures?
Wedding Commission is 10% on all wedding options purchased prior to travel.  Sandals WeddingMoons Specialists receive a higher commission depending on their SWS Status: 
SILVER Status - 11% commission
GOLD Status – 12% commission
PLATINUM Status – 14% commission

Why should travel advisors work with your brand?
Travel Advisors can book Sandals and Beaches directly through our Travel Advisor portal -, which can result in up to 3% additional room commission. Also, Sandals & Beaches Resorts has the largest sales force in the industry across North and South America, providing you direct support to grow your business.
