As it relates to romance travel, what unique value propositions set your brand apart from the competition?
Princess Hotels & Resorts stands out for its stunning beachfront venues, customizable wedding packages, and dedicated Groups & Weddings specialists who work closely with travel advisors. With over 56 years of hospitality experience, we create seamless destination wedding experiences in the Caribbean. Notably, nearly 85% of our guests are repeat visitors, returning for the warmth of our team and the beauty of our majestic beaches.
Can you share a success story when working with travel advisors?
One memorable success story involved a travel advisor planning a destination wedding with over 70 guests traveling from different countries. Our Groups & Weddings team worked closely with the advisor to coordinate accommodations, personalized décor, and a seamless multi-day celebration. The couple also chose to incorporate cultural elements from the Dominican Republic to give the celebration an authentic local touch. The WOW moment came with a breathtaking beachfront reception at sunset. Even years later, several guests have returned to the destination and still speak about the unforgettable wedding experience.
What is new and exciting that you're looking forward to share with this year's Romance Travel Forum delegates?
One of the most exciting additions we look forward to sharing with Romance Travel Forum delegates is our Mangrove area, now transformed into a beautifully intimate and private venue. Surrounded by nature, it offers couples a unique setting ideal for romantic ceremonies, private dinners, and unforgettable celebrations for those who truly appreciate natural beauty and tranquility.
The travel industry is forever evolving. What are some of the trends you're seeing, and what initiatives is your brand developing to support travel sellers grow their business?
The romance travel segment continues to evolve with couples looking for more personalized and meaningful experiences. We are seeing strong demand for intimate destination weddings, multi-day celebrations, and events that incorporate local culture and natural settings.At Princess Hotels & Resorts, we are expanding unique venues, such as our intimate Mangrove location, and strengthening our dedicated Groups & Weddings support team. Our goal is to make planning seamless for travel advisors while helping them deliver memorable and distinctive celebrations for their clients.
What are your traditional commission structures?
We offer a 10% commission on our wedding packages, including Essence, Bloom, Breeze, and Shaadi by the Sea. Additionally, for travel advisors who consistently produce destination weddings with us, we are open to increasing commission levels up to 20%, depending on the number of weddings guaranteed annually.

Advisors can access our resorts through their preferred booking platforms while collaborating directly with our team for customized wedding proposals, group planning, and seamless coordination throughout the process.
When communicating with your company, what can travel advisors expect?
Travel advisors can expect personalized service and direct communication with our dedicated Groups & Weddings team. We prioritize timely responses and work closely with advisors throughout the planning process to ensure smooth coordination. Our goal is to provide reliable support, clear communication, and a seamless experience for both advisors and their clients.
How and where can travel advisors book or get support when selling your product?
Travel advisors can book our resorts through their preferred tour operator partners and distribution channels. For destination weddings and group celebrations, advisors can also work directly with our dedicated Groups & Weddings team in Punta Cana, who provide personalized support with proposals, planning coordination, and event details.
